We’re thanking our heroes this Veterans Day weekend by
donating 5% of Saturday’s pre-tax sales to Honor Flight Dayton and putting out donation cans for any contributions that our visitors would like to add.
Honor Flight is a national network of volunteers which allows veterans of WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam and their guardians to visit their war memorials in Washington DC.
It costs $450 for one veteran to make this flight of a lifetime.

Fresh-cut Trees, Greens, Wreaths, Roping and Bunches arrive Thanksgiving week.

We’re happy to share the fabulous news and say THANK YOU to all who nominated Grandma’s in the Dayton Magazine’s Best of Dayton survey. We are a nominee for Best Garden Center for the 4th year in a row after winning the title for the first 3. And this year we’re also a Best Landscaper finalist! The voting event is a blast — the Best of Dayton Party at the Convention Center, with SO many local companies sharing samples and discounts, entertainment and music. Don’t eat first! Here’s a link to the event page with all finalist names so you can see who might be sharing goodies. When ordering TICKETS (click on that word), please use the code FINALIST to save 50% with our gratitude. Hope to see you there!

Hydrangeas are the most popular Summer flowering shrub. They make a striking statement in the garden with their long blooming habit and clouds of ivory, pastel or deep pink and blue flowers.  Most prefer a shady spot but a few selections can tolerate full sun. The blossoms change colors from summer into fall and the dried stems are perfect for arrangements and wreaths.  All prefer a damp soil and will lower their pretty heads when they need a drink. Let our nursery experts help you choose the perfect Hydrangeas for your landscape.  One-year guarantee; two if we plant.
